About Mario Mazzer

A designer full of curiosity that allows him to make style breakthroughs, Mario Mazzer, born in 1955, graduated in 1978 in Architecture at the Milan Polytechnic, where a year later he achieved an Industrial Design diploma at the Polytechnic School of Design. He trained in the 70s with Italian masters of design. In the 80s Mazzer opened his own studio at Conegliano, where he began developing an independent design language. He is active in several sectors: architecture, interior design and industrial design. In 1991 he won the Young & Design Award. In 1999 he took part in an itinerant exhibition “Segnali di Cibo” (Food and design) and the relative television programmes.
He has also won the “Grandesign International Award” in the jewellery category and received a mention in the 5th edition. His products have been selected for the ADI Design Index and International Design Yearbook.
In 2001 a monograph was published by the Biblioteca dell’Immagine, entitled: “Thinking About Things” – Mario Mazzer designer.
In the field of architecture he develops projects for new buildings and restores residential, commercial and office buildings in Italy and abroad. He is a member of ADI, Sie and Beda.
